My Brothers, Friends, and Guests,

Thank you for taking the time to stop by the Allen County Scottish Rite Club web site. Let me first say that this site, as well as the club itself is a labor of love to all those who are involved. As you explore the internet and find places that discuss Masonry and the varied opinions that the world has of us I encourage you to look at this site and others like it to see the true intent of our fraternity.

We are men seeking to be better than ourselves, aspiring to be more like those that we revere and worship. Through the degrees of the Scottish Rite we have seen aspects of ourselves that we would want to magnify, and it has given us the vision to find the impurities of our life and has helped us to divest ourselves of them. Regardless of specified denomination or faith we see that there is a common thread throughout history of mankind aspiring to be better than we are required to be. Men leading their communities and providing aid to others. Families coming together in fellowship and love to help their community. We aspire to take our place among those who have put aside the common path and have traveled a far nobler one. To me this is Scottish Rite Masonry.

The Club itself is a natural extension of these brothers and their families endeavoring to aid the community. Each year we attempt to touch the lives of children during the holiday season. We are not doing this for some accolade or reward. We do these things because it is the right thing to do.

Make no mistake that we are not doing this for any reason other than this: The CHILDREN. They are our future, and may God bless it and bring them from any circumstance that may now limit them.

Thanks again for taking the time to visit us. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have questions.

Sincerely,

R. Jason Hightower, 32º

President of the Allen County Scottish Rite Club
